Chapter 59 One by one, they left, leaving the VIP lounge quiet and empty. Tata stood by the floor-to-ceiling window, holding a freshly bought hot drink, quietly admiring the scenery outside. Reflecting on the past month since she transmigrated, she had managed to escape danger time and time again. If she could endure the next few months, she should be able to break free from the story's plot. Soren enjoyed a few fast runs on the slope before scanning the area for Tara; she was nowhere in sight.

Spotting only Snella, he called out to his assistant, Joseph Conner, "Where's Tara? Why don't I see her?" Joseph glanced around before shaking his head. "No idea, I haven't seen her." He then wondered to himself who on earth would keep tabs on a housekeeper's whereabouts anyway. Soren clicked his tongue and leaped off the slope, coming to a sharp stop right before Snella. His striking presence immediately drew the attention of those nearby.

Snella was taken aback, her heart fluttering at the sight of him. Soren on the slopes was irresistibly captivating. While the other three skied with handsome, composed elegance, only Soren exuded bold, untamed energy. She was about to ask if he could teach her to ski, hoping it might bring them closer. But before she could speak, Soren asked, "Where's Tara?" Snella's expression faltered slightly. "Tara? She's in the lounge." Soren gestured toward the distant building.

"Is she alone?" Nodding slowly, Snella said with concern, "She seemed cold, so I told her to wait inside." A flicker of surprise crossed Soren's face as he looked at her. "Is that so?" Recalling the elevator incident that he had witnessed, Snella's smile grew uneasy. "I was upset with her before, but I've been trying to make it up to her these past few days." Whether Soren believed her or not was unclear.

He simply replied, "Alright." Turning away, he effortlessly spun and launched himself over another slope. Joseph hurried after him with a DSLR camera in hand. His skiing skills had steadily improved just to keep up with Soren. Behind them, Snella's grip tightened on her ski poles. The memory of Soren's relentless mockery and open disdain for Tara was vivid. Yet, he was suddenly showing concern for her now. What trick had Tara managed to pull?

Tara was settled comfortably in the VIP lounge, her legs crossed demurely as she enjoyed her warm beverage. The idea of being outside in the freezing cold held no appeal for her; indoors was precisely where she wanted to be. Tata hadn't anticipated being the first to walk into the lounge. She recalled someone describing him as a fervent skier, utterly devoted to the sport. So, when his tall figure entered the lounge, skis in hand, he caught her completely off guard. Tara asked, "Mr.

Farrell, are you tired from skiing?" But inwardly, she reasoned that it was unlikely, considering they hadn't been out on the slopes for very long. He came to a stop in front of her. "Tara, I just came in to rest for a bit." Tara took the seat next to Tara, and Joseph settled in a chair close by. Soren internally groaned at Joseph's presence, considering him an unwelcome intrusion, but he couldn't very well tell him to move without raising suspicion.

Just then, Tara rose and retrieved two cups of hot beverages she had purchased earlier. After marking them with their respective names, she offered them to the men, saying gently, "It's freezing out there. Warm yourselves up with these." Chapter 60
